This film takes us on a journey through Hong Kong’s disappearing oyster reefs, revealing the importance of reviving these lost ecosystems to safeguard the city’s environmental future.
There will also be a special post-screening sharing with Dr. Bayden Russel, Associate Professor at the Swire Institute of Marine Science (SWIMS), and Marine Thomas, Associate Director of Conservation at The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to share more on Hong Kong’s marine biodiversity and their conservation efforts.
SWIMS and TNC are marine NGO partners of the Swire Trust. Both organisations are Featured Scientist Partners for the production, contributing their expertise in marine conservation and restoration in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta.
