Escape from the bustling city and step into the natural world of Nam Sang Wai. Featuring beautiful scenery such as fishponds, reed beds, and wetlands, Nam Sang Wai serves as both a peaceful retreat and an ideal spot for birdwatching.

During the event, HKBWS instructors will guide us to appreciate and identify the diverse range of bird species in the area. Following the birdwatching session, local farmers will host a rice cake-making workshop, where you enjoy the homemade flavours while surrounded by the symphony of nature.

Swire Trust supports HKBWS with the first Hong Kong Seabirds Satellite Tracking Study in 2022 to further enhance scientific knowledge and capacity building on seabird monitoring and raise public awareness of the marine and coastal environment.
